I was up by a tree urinating and say a couple does walk by. But they were right out of range so I watched them walk by.Went back down to where I was sitting told my friend i saw two deer. Sat there for about 45 minutes, my friend went walking about 20 seconds later I heard heavy breathing and running in the snow behind me whispering hey hurry hey hurry come here So i follow him in about 20 yards up the hill. I sit up and see about 15 deer walking about 30 yards out so I picked up my muzzle loader and aimed. Its the first time i ever shot a muzzle loader. So I didnt know what to expect I guess i took a long time to pull the trigger because my friend kept saying hurry shoot shoot shoot So I aimed center mass and squeezed the trigger and watch the deer fall. Now the first thing i asked should of been did i get it? But it was is my nose bleeding? bc the muzzle loader had a bigger kick than what i expected. I searched for two minutes total and found it. I had to drag it about 4 football field lengths to the truck because there was a crappy truck. So that is my first hunting story
